- Landscaping project: ÁBATON
As one of our typical wild garden landscapes, this project transforms the setting of a contemporary home into a living, dynamic landscape. The design starts from a naturalistic approach, in which the planting is organized in loose masses, spontaneous in appearance, but strategically composed to achieve a coherent reading from any angle of the garden.
The planting is composed of a combination of perennials, grasses and species adapted to the local climate, which do not require intensive watering or constant care. Colors such as fuchsia, purple and pink alternate with soft greens and light textures, creating a vibrant yet balanced scene. Blooms occur throughout the year, providing seasonal interest and encouraging pollinators.
The layout of the garden does not follow rigid lines or formal compositions. A flexible structure is chosen, where plants are grouped in layers of different heights, shapes and densities. This landscaping approach allows a natural integration with the architecture, softening its lines and providing an organic contrast to the geometric character of the house.
Sustainability has been a key criterion: drought-resistant species have been used, lawns have been avoided in unnecessary areas, and functional biodiversity has been prioritized. The result is a wild garden, full of movement, color and life, which evolves with the seasons and offers a changing sensory experience throughout the year.
We demonstrate how contemporary landscaping can be aesthetic, responsible and functional at the same time. A clear example of how wild gardens can be adapted to the domestic environment without losing their natural essence or their capacity to excite.
