Projects that inspire us. Looking at the future.

References to museums and cultural spaces where architecture, layout and experience become a single narrative. Here we bring together projects that stand out for their relationship with their context, their control of light—both natural and artificial—their scale and materiality, as well as for the clarity of their circulation and the quality of their atmospheres. We observe exhibition and museography solutions: the rhythm of rooms, pauses, accessibility, signage, acoustics, display cases, supports, and strategies to protect and enhance the works. An archive to study how design can organise the gaze, construct memory, and offer intense and serene experiences, with lessons applicable to ÁBATON's practice.
