Landscaping AF Project

  • Landscaping project: ÁBATON

This outdoor garden design project arose from the need to create a living, functional and aesthetically balanced space in a residential plot with good orientation and pre-existing vegetation. The objective was to integrate the garden with the contemporary architecture of the house, providing color, texture and biodiversity without sacrificing simplicity in maintenance.

The approach is based on a naturalistic planting style, with a plant palette composed of perennials, ornamental grasses and aromatic species such as lavender, echinacea, sage, crocosmias or euphorbias. These plants are distributed in loose masses, favoring a freer and more spontaneous reading of the space, but preserving the structure necessary for the garden to function throughout the year.

The distribution of the spaces responds to a practical and emotional use of the garden: passage areas, shady corners under established trees, focal points with eye-catching blooms, and open areas such as the lawn or the pool. All of this is connected by intuitive paths that invite you to stroll or stop and observe.

The design has used sober and contemporary materials for paving, walls and borders, which contrast with the exuberance of the vegetation and allow the shapes and colors of the garden to stand out. In addition, priority has been given to the use of resistant species, adapted to the local climate, to ensure low water consumption and sustainable management.

The result is a garden that not only accompanies the architecture, but also enriches the experience of living, generating a serene, dynamic and biodiverse environment. A clear example of how outdoor garden design can improve the quality of domestic space and connect everyday life with nature in an honest and lasting way.
