Terraces and porches

  • The protagonists of spring

With the arrival of spring, terraces, porches and patios regain their prominence to enjoy the garden and the outdoors.

Landscapers and interior designers collaborate in these spaces to create sets with personality and color. Learn here the best tricks to make your outdoor spaces stand out this spring.

Porches or covered terraces are the ideal place to place outdoor dining tables or seating areas. From ÁBATON we surround this space with vegetation at different heights to generate an enveloping sensation of the natural environment.

In this space we used the outdoor table designed by David Lopez Quincoces, from Living Divani, together with the outdoor chairs, designed by Lievore Altherr Molina, from Expormim.

The incorporation of vegetation in the upper floor terraces achieves the connection with the exterior that we are always looking for, in those spaces that do not have a direct connection with the garden. In addition to naturalizing the interior, it efficiently manages water resources, channeling excess water and cooling the space below.

The combination of colors in landscaping with the pieces of furniture make the space visually coherent and harmonious.

The most special lamp designs can make outdoor spaces stand out both day and night.

Incorporate an original design such as the PET Lamp, by Álvaro Catalán de Ocón, made from reused PET plastic bottles and basket weaving techniques, providing color and personality to distinguish the porch or terrace.

Having the right advice for the choice of a color palette is a fundamental aspect to guarantee coherence and style in spaces. Knowing the impact of the shades and the combinations in color and texture, are the points that ensure the ideal environment.
