Accommodation in Lisboa
Located in a historical area of Lisbon, this project is born out of a close collaboration between Maria Ulecia and studio ABATON so as to give formal expression to a unique dwelling concept, based on the idea that a guest’s experience may be similar to staying at friend’s house in another city.

The design’s ruling element is an exposed concrete staircase which honestly and boldly expresses its seismic-structural function, providing access to different rooms as well as a visible finished surface.
The project fully exploits the views to the city from each of its rooms, which become the scheme’s main asset, both from the house and from its garden.
